I love hanging things. These hanging mugs were just perfect! I was mentally struggling with making them look realistic vs. painterly expressive. In the end I just painted. That inner critic has to chime in somehow.

    I like all the texture. What are you using to apply the paint?

      Hi Wendy! I am using Shiva paintstiks. I use a palette knife to move the paint around but its mostly from the layers of the paintstiks that I am getting the texture from. You can paint on top of a color with little mixture using these sticks.
